Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee DRP and BCP exercises
  • Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advice management and suggest actions.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
  • Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.
  • Select and implement suitable technologies to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
  • Oversee internal and external audit commitments are met timely and satisfactory
  • Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.
  • In conjunction with CACIB Head Office IOS management, evolve the IT Sourcing strategy for the Americas in line with both local and global CACIB objectives.
  • Ensure CACIB global initiatives like ACT and IOS 2025 are prioritized for execution
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
  • Supervise and maintain control over activities conducted by third party service providers.
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
  • Implement new technologies like RPA, AI, no code as appropriate
  • Set strategies and objectives for the IT function.
  • Direct and organize IT related projects.

In this role, must:
  • Ensure accuracy and expediency of any activity related to audits.
  • Manage customer relations when dealing directly with both internal and external users of the systems.
  • Maintain and improve system security.
  • Consult with and advise other departments on systems and procedures.
  • Ensure the respect of development procedures as per the internal system project life cycle procedures.
  • Exercise the duties of a manager with respect to supervision of all personnel within the team including staffing, training and development, performance appraisals.
  • Ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner and as per procedures defined / standards when applicable
  • Assign personnel/services to the various projects, direct their activities and ensure adequate project reporting.
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction (internal and external).
  • Maintain and improve service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant U.S. Regulatory guidelines, standards and regulations.
  • Ensure alignment with CACIB and CASA IT strategy.
  • Ensure integrity of all systems.
  • Ensure the respect of policies and procedures of the Bank, as well as regulatory requirements.

Salary range: $225,000 - $275,000
