Chief Development Officer Jobs

The SVP, Product Development is responsible for defining and leading the development of products in this global software company’s portfolio by building and leading innovative, market-responsive, and competitive product development teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish measurement criteria and evaluation mechanisms for product development and delivery to determine success.
• Instill and drive a delivery focused culture while promoting a creative and high performing environment.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to define and establish the product roadmap to support our business strategy, go-to-market plans, and customer first mindset.
• Oversee the development and communication of a product development strategy that supports our corporate objectives.
• Ensure and reinforce developmental best practices for quality assurance and deployment.
• Build strong relationships with key industry technology organizations, partners, forums and thought leaders to remain current on leading technological trends and overall software development trends.
• Manage legacy and go forward products and oversee product rationalization activities.
• Develop long-range plans for communications and implementation of required capabilities.

• Ability to dynamically adjust the plan, to resolve resource contention as well as to meet changing business needs

• Excellent prioritization, risk identification, and issue problem solving skills to keep projects on track.
• Informed on technology trends.
• Strong technology business planning and execution capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of specialized/industry experience.
• Master’s degree preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 9+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types.
• 14+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
