The Opportunity
Provide the leadership that ensures all plant employees can improve and sustain a zero loss work culture that drives out injuries and ensures products are safe and meet quality specifications. Manage all aspects of a 24/7 plant operation ensuring budget, output, and continuous improvement by engaging all employees. Essential functions include; Meet production goals in areas such as yield, quality, and customer specifications. Organize work flow of production managers and team leaders to direct their short and long term development Foster an environment of problem solving and continuous improvement. Work in collaboration with Quality Control, Accounting, Marketing and R&D Departments. Analyze daily and weekly reports and oversee resolution of any issues.
The Skills you will bring to the team Read, analyze and interpret general business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to understand TPM and similar continuous improvement methodologies Experience managing Continuous Improvement through manufacturing metrics Knowledge and experience with cheese manufacturing. GMP/HACCP knowledge

The opportunity will be based in Clovis, NM at our Southwest Cheese & Whey Protein Manufacturing Plant were we process over 5.1 billion pounds of milk at the 24/7 facility.
