The Role: Buyer/Planner
As a Buyer/Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of essential medical supplies. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, driving efficiency in the procurement process. This position offers a flexible and dynamic work environment, empowering you to grow both personally and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams to align supply and demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers, reviewing purchase forecasts and operational issues.
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Monitor and prioritize production plans, taking proactive measures to prevent delays.
Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders regarding order schedules and potential delays.
Ensure seamless goods reception from suppliers, working closely with warehouse and transportation teams.
Handle drop ship order information as needed to ensure smooth execution.
Assist in regulatory compliance by submitting required documents.
Take an active role in procurement functions within the SAP system.
Manage daily operational topics with suppliers, including supplier reviews and invoice discrepancies.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Buying.
Familiarity with ERPs (SAP) data structure, MRP process, and data flows.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Power BI, and/or Qlik reporting platforms.
Excellent critical thinking, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5-10%).
