Tax Analyst Jobs

The goal of the Contractor Tax Analyst is to assist the indirect tax compliance team with various tax reporting support responsibilities. This position requires a curious, detail-oriented, data-driven professional that is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written, verbal, and electronic formats are required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform QA related to sales and use tax content and form changes
• Identify ways to improve process and/or technology to better serve our customers.
• Manage workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Prepare, review, and file multi-jurisdictional sales/use, business, occupation, and gross receipts tax returns for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual filings
• Communicate regularly and effectively with customers, jurisdictions, and other internal teams as part of research and resolution
• Work collaboratively with all team members and management
• Responsible for the onboarding and validation of new sales/use tax returns customers
• Ability to research and resolve jurisdictional notices on behalf of customers

Requirements:

• Exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Self-starter with critical thinking skills
• Proven computer technical skills – MS Excel & Google Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Business discipline preferred, or other four-year degree with equivalent experience
