The Innovation Institute for Food and Health (IIFH) is founded on a unique academic-industry partnership and interfaces with both entrepreneurial and research domains. In its seventh year on campus, the institute has a mandate of inclusive interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral engagement. The IIFH works closely with academic and industry partners to incorporate metabolic design into the foods and beverages that consumers enjoy everyday allowing them to live happier, healthier, longer lives. IIFH engages the brightest minds demonstrating the fundamental connection between food and health, along with our industry partners, to collaborate on ground-breaking solutions and bring revolutionary ideas to life. The successful incumbent will have significant exposure to the institute’s leadership team, work with talented cross- functional teams, and help shape the institute’s trajectory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Equivalent to or pursing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Public Affairs, Communications or other related degree
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) :
- Be a true team player who works closely and cohesively with others
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Be a self-starter who drives progress and results while meeting critical deadlines
- Ability to work across multiple projects, work independently, and prioritize deliverables
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Experience working with: Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint / Google: Docs, Sheets, Drive / Dropbox / Slack
- Experience working with project management software such as Asana or Monday.com is a plus.
