Benefits Analyst-Hr Jobs

•2-3 years of experience minimum of HR/benefit product experience

•Demonstrated advance proficiency with the use of excel and HRSI systems is required

•Strong knowledge, interpretation and application of laws, regulations, company policies, best business practices and ethics related to employee benefit products.

•Strong understanding and ability to reference Summary Plan Descriptions.

•Strong interpersonal, communications, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a highly developed service focus.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

•Utilizes the IKEA Summary Plan Descriptions and ensure compliance and provide consultation to HR on benefit administration, regulations, laws and policies.

•Collaborates with third party vendors for implementing, testing and operating new benefit programs.

•Performs quality checks and audits by importing and extracting electronic files from the system and third-party vendors.

•Processes enrollment, termination, and the maintenance of the complete IKEA benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 401(k), Life Insurance, Disability, and EAP.

•Researches and responds to benefit related questions and inquiries.

•Assists with the preparation and processing weekly 401(k) files including 401k audits and testing.

•Responds to 401(k) inquiries from employees relating to enrollment, plan changes and contribution amounts.

•Works with FSA and COBRA vendors including enrollment, termination, audits and maintenance of the plans.

•Manages and processes Education Assistance plan.

•Partners with the SSC Operations Benefits Manager to establish new ways of working to improve efficiencies, costs, and the productivity of both the SSC and IKEA stores while always striving to improve the service level.
