Big Canyon Country Club is now accepting Applications for:

Pool Bartender (Full Time, Seasonal)

We are looking for exceptional seasonal Pool Bartenders. If you are interested in working in a beautiful private country club with outstanding service and people, then consider Big Canyon Country Club. Applicants must be able to work consistently from mid-May to mid-September including holidays and weekends.

Expectations

• Creating memorable moments with members and their families while upholding member service standards
• Always conduct oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of the Big Canyon Country Club
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness

Duties and Responsibilities

• Informing supervisors of any major incidents as quickly as possible
• Ringing up charges for members’ beverages throughout the day
• Ensuring bar station is fully stocked and clean
• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and their guests while making adjustments and recommendations accordingly

Compensation

Pay range for this position is $24 - $28 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
• Must work cooperatively and professionally with other departments
• Ability to perform physical job duties while working in outdoor pool area while on feet for long periods of time
• 1 year of Bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of various mixed drinks and alternatives to varying alcohol/allergy options

Selection Process

• Step 1: Applications will be reviewed to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and/or desirables; those candidates will be referred to step 2 in the selection process. Step 2: Hiring managers will contact candidate to schedule an interview.
• Step 4: Upon successful completion of background check, candidates will be notified and begin the onboarding process.
• Step 3: Those candidates who are offered employment will have their information sent for background check.
