Position Purpose
As an Audit Analyst I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of various Medicare functions and processes through conducting audit procedures. Responsibilities
- Audit the accuracy of Medicare functions, including new group set up, benefit changes, group terminations, plan summaries, manual processed claims, and manual eligibility changes for the client services team.
- Assist with updating or drafting policies and procedures related to audit procedures.
- Summarize audit findings in written reports.
- Prepare audit work papers and documentation of audit results.
- Schedule and discuss audit findings with the team.
- Request and obtain information in a timely manner to complete audits within deadlines.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting, auditing, or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience.
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
