SKILLS AND SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:

*Experience with: Mac workflow, Pro Tools, plug-ins, Source Connect

*Familiar with: Audio processing techniques; EQ, compression, reverb

*Degree in audio/sound engineering or related field is a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Audio production professional with experience in recording studio workflow and processes post-production sound for broadcast, OLV, radio and on-set production sound. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can work independently as well as within an established team. Being organized, observant, flexible, and focused will help assistant engineers stay sharp in what is sometimes a slow-paced and repetitive work environment. The ideal assistant engineer is also a very quick learner who won't need to be shown something twice.

·Prep record/mix sessions

·Help exchange assets between client, creative, and engineer.

·Deliver assets and store on our network server.

·Organize and cleanup after sessions.

·Search and discover sound effects through our main libraries.

·Perform general admin duties as needed, lunch orders and general client service needs.

·Good time management and organizational skills

·Team player
