Role Responsibilities


This role is responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle process of a white space sales territory, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as the primary contact for prospective clients, coordinating across the organization to help the client achieve their objectives.
  • Meet established revenue targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships ensuring satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Product Specialists, Product Strategists, Marketing Strategists and other employees within the organization to leverage their appropriate expertise to the sales cycle.
  • Manage full lifecycle sales process which includes, identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations.
  • Position requires travel.
  • Market a variety of solutions across credit and supply chain risk, financial crimes compliance, sales & marketing, data management, structured finance, economics, ESG, and real estate to the Corporate sector.
  • Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.
  • Ensure complete client coverage by calling upon product specialists and other client facing professionals where appropriate.
  • Represent company at industry and company sponsored events, as required.


Qualifications


  • Experience at six figure sales with long sales cycle (3-12 months).
  • 3+ years experience in a sales role within in the SaaS or InfoServ sectors.
  • Experience selling to corporate clients (i.e. Big Manufacturing, Big Pharma, Tech Software, Consumer Package Goods, Energy) rather than Banking, CRE, Ins or FinTech.
  • Experience selling to executive level (CSuite)
  • Experience with solution rather than tactical selling.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Economics or related area required, MBA highly preferred.
  • Multi-national experience preferred.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $ 75,500 to $ 113,750, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
