About The Role

Our Sales Development program is an excellent place to jumpstart your sales career by building a solid foundation to grow your career with Morphisec. You will have goals across performance as well as skill development set up for you to grow from sales development into the career path that’s right for you: account management, inside channel sales, marketing, or customer success.

Your primary responsibility is to generate a pipeline for sales by showing our value and qualifying opportunities. You will be partnering with marketing and sales to execute inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns. This position requires heavy outbound prospecting, qualification, and fluid collaboration with both marketing and sales. Along the way, you’ll learn techniques and skills that you’ll be able to apply throughout your career.


Day To Day You’ll:

  • Identifying decision-makers and key influencers
  • Manage a territory attack plan in collaboration with your Account Executive
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly goals to maximize sales opportunities with outbound emails, calls, and meetings
  • Become IT and Cybersecurity savvy thanks to ongoing training and coaching from senior leaders
  • Assist marketing in gathering feedback by representing ‘Voice of Customer’ and reporting on the success of campaigns and lead generation activities
  • Conduct discovery calls with prospective buyers and create next steps including scheduling meetings for Account Executives for further qualification by:
  • Effectively communicating the value of our solution to prospects
  • Researching and pre-qualifying prospective companies using a variety of online platforms
  • Maintain notes in Salesforce CRM
  • Successfully handling and overcome objections


Requirements:

  • 6+ months of professional experience in sales (technology sales preferred)
  • Strong desire to be a critical part of a fun, team-first culture
  • Strong desire to grow in the role and in your career at Morphisec
  • The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
  • Self-starter and team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling
  • Excellent listening skills, ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies.
  • Outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • The drive to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Navigator
  • A growth mindset, consistently working to improve your skills and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored.
