About Us
Our Systems & Data Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the System Development Lifecycle and maintaining the administrative database. Working closely with Technology Services and various business areas, we ensure that the Service Retirement (SR) Division's systems and processes are operating at their best. Not only do we handle system-related enhancements, testing, and maintenance, but we also dive into the treasure trove of data that powers our daily operations and the Public Records Act.
Your Role: Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA):
Under the guidance of our dedicated Pension Program Manager I, as the AGPA of the Systems & Data (S&D) Team, you'll thrive independently, managing complex tasks that involve systems development and maintenance. Your analytical prowess will be put to the test as you dive into business processes, procedures, workflows, and the seamless implementation of legislative changes.

The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a keen understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and can skillfully interpret and analyze data outputs. Customer service and interpersonal skills are essential as you'll be part of a collaborative team. Multi-tasking comes naturally to you, and you embrace change with enthusiasm. Your ability to identify and implement process improvements will be invaluable to our mission, and your proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) will be put to good use.

We understand the importance of work-life balance, and that's why we offer a hybrid approach to work. You'll have the option to work both in-office and remotely, striking the right balance with 2 days on-site at our Headquarters in West Sacramento and 3 days remote.
