Job Description

We are looking for Uber drivers from New York to join a testing project we are running for one of our clients. It is an Exploratory testing project, and it is required to have an Uber Driver account to participate in the runs. We accept applications from the candidates who already are registered as Uber drivers. We will have open projects for Uber Eats and Uber Delivery, but you might have to wait until they are launched.

Requirements
  • Prior software testing experience would be a plus, but we will organize an onboarding session for drivers who have not tried testing before. We also have a set of professional courses that will help you get started.
  • Devices you may need: an Android smartphone (Android 10 or above) and/or iPhone (iOS 15 or above)
  • Language: English (intermediate or higher)
  • Location: New York
  • You have to be at least 18 years old
  • Mandatory: an Uber Driver account (you will have to go through a verification process)
What does testing look like?
  • The pay rate is 30 USD per hour.
  • Type of work: short-term, freelance
  • Type of testing: Exploratory, Usability
  • Please, note that Testlio is paying only for the time spent on work related to software testing and surveys, not for the time of the whole trip.
  • Workload: 2-3 hours per week
  • Payments are made on a weekly basis via PayPal or Payoneer.
