- Assist with the administration and guidance of leave of absence matters.
- Successfully collaborate to build and maintain relationships with various departments and team members.
- Ability to help develop, implement, support, and review all Human Resource Department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.
- Organize and support staffing initiatives such as coordinating team events, creating requisitions, assessing talent, performing phone screens and leading new hire processes.
- Effectively navigate HR systems and maintain team member documents.
- Review the offboarding process and collaborate with other departments to appropriately and timely execute the offboarding activities.
- Leadership and instructional aptitudes needed to provide training on policies and procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on employee benefits and serve as a liaison between company and vendors/brokers
- Promote an Open Door Culture by engaging with staff and appropriately responding to questions/ inquiries.
- Monitor and identify people trends through research, analysis, and preparation of reports.
- Coordinate varying time-sensitive tasks related to recruiting and retaining talent
- Assist in developing onboarding/ training/ engagement/ and other general HR tools and resources.
- Maintain electronic storage of team member files,' Handbook' and organization charts.
- Champion cultural values by role modeling behaviors and expectations.
- Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including assisting with job descriptions, posting advertisements, and assisting with onboarding.
- Composure and confidentiality required to handle disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Supervise and track timely completion/ submission of required HR forms and processes.
- Ensure cyclical HR processes are communicated with clarity and implemented with defined expectations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Triage ER concerns and partner with HR leaders to ensure grievances are addressed in a timely manner.
- The ideal candidate is both an analytical and creative thinker, with an approachable attitude and collaborative spirit.
- They will need to have successfully managed human resources people process and HR systems in a small/mid-size startup or business environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong network across various sectors including, but not limited to sports, hospitality, entertainment, and tech.
