Summary
As the Assistant Finance Manager within our Sales Finance team you will be responsible for providing strong financial leadership and insights to functional and business unit leaders around trade spending, Clorox profitability, and customer profitability. This position will drive long-term profitable growth for the customers it supports by working closely with Business Unit Finance. This position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager but works closely with sales.
In this role, you will:
- Lead efforts around Trade controls, modernization, automation, and simplification for your customers.
- Actively support customer teams by having a key leadership role in driving profitable growth by providing analytical support on trade spending and profitability, and by assessing current and future risks and opportunities during the development of current year targets and long range plans.
- Continue to build the business and financial understanding of the customer teams to ensure focus on balanced metrics; including Sales and Profit.
- Own your development by actively participating in the MyGPS process and Learning and Development programs.
- Own the customer-specific scorecards, reporting, and Joint Business Planning processes, working with your sales counterparts to develop and execute profitable goals for Clorox that improve Net Revenue. Provide support for customer negotiations.
- Partner with Business Unit (HQ) finance to ensure consistency between financials analysis and current operational plans.

- Experience in interpreting accounting principles and incorporating learnings into project financials
- Strong analytical skills needed to consolidate large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers and distill issues and risks
