Manager, Finance Jobs

The American Diabetes Association is seeking an Associate to join our Finance team. The position is 100% remote. The Associate produces timely and accurate financial statements, supplemental schedules, and variance analysis for assigned initiatives. Assist with annual and project budget management, including expense monitoring and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes monthly forecast and variance analysis for Senior Management’s review.
• Track and monitor expenses throughout the year and highlights trends that deviate from expectations.
• Complete general ledger reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Provides reports to and meets monthly with various staff for the assigned program to review financial accuracy and ensure in compliance with contracts/grants.
• Develop a working knowledge of the financial and operational activities associated with assigned initiatives.
• The position reports to the Senior Finance Manager - PMO

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in spreadsheet and have familiarity with accounting information systems (i.e., Oracle Fusion)
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to successfully execute multiple tasks while working under pressure to meet deadlines
• 2 to 4 years work experience
• Positive, adaptable, and creative attitude and initiative
• General knowledge of accepted accounting principles as they apply to non-profit organizations
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field

Compensation range: $60,000 - $70,000 DOE
