JOB DESCRIPTION

RAMTeCH Software Solutions is a global GIS consulting, engineering, data management, and

software solutions company specializing in the utility and telecommunications industries, and

government. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Operations in our Telecommunications

Engineering division, with a strong background in Outside Plant Engineering and management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for technically supporting growth and steady-state

opportunities for both inside and outside plant environments associated with Telecom and

Broadband markets in North America. The successful candidate would be recognized and

perform as the subject matter expert representing the company in both operations and

business development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in business development visits and calls to implement account and/or target

market strategies as developed in conjunction with other and aligned with senior

projects.

o Identify On-Boarding requirements.
o Coordinate webinars and conference calls.
o Track progress via input to applicable documents.
o Test process to assure timeliness of delivery and the highest quality.
o Document the completion of On-Boarding and file as dictated by document

retention guidelines.

• Maintain high-level knowledge of customer’s business to recognize opportunities, sustain

existing business and be perceived by the customer as a problem solver and value-added

advocate.

• Maintain a working knowledge of proprietary GIS platforms used by North American

Telcos and MSOs.

• Provide training as required to Account Managers.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years’ success at middle management level experience supporting telecom

and/or MSO design programs.

• Engineering degree preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detailed understanding of fiber optic technology and emerging product and market

trends.

• 30% travel required. Must be willing to travel to India, if required.
• Knowledge of major Telco and MSO accounts in North America.
• High proficiency with Office 365 Suite
