Job Title: Analyst, Digital Marketing


A little bit about our team:


As part of the Warner Records Research and Analysis team you will help educated, inform, and develop better strategies here at the Record Label. You will work side by side with our other analysts on the team but the primary focus will be is becoming the subject matter expert in digital campaign and marketing effects on how they impact our Artists growth and development.


Your role:


The digital landscape is rapidly changing and we’re looking for someone to help keep Warner Records on the cutting edge of data, trends and new findings so we can develop the most impactful product/brand strategies. You won’t just being educating the departments at the label but also helping to assist/educate some of the most iconic artists and managers in the music business.


Here you’ll get to:


  • You will use analytics and metrics, and a number of technologies/tools, to analyze campaign results, successes and KPIs
  • You will aggregate best practices for social media and online platforms
  • You will assisting in developing digital marketing strategies for artists and genres
  • You will develop and manage regular reporting (Daily, Weekly, Monthly etc.)
  • You will measure, monitor and help create benchmarks and KPI for the department and individual artists
  • You will be the subject matter expert in social media metrics for the label and rostered artists
  • You will conduct post-mordum campaign analysis


About you:


  • You are passionate about Music
  • You are great at data visualization
  • You have excellent communication (verbal, written, presenting)
  • You will have to translate data à information à actionalble insights
  • You will be a bit of a Macguyver, creating building your own solutions and processes
  • You are a numbers savant
  • You will need to be a good story teller (using many different data sources)
  • You have amazing organizational skills


We’d love it if you also had:


  • Background in Digital Advertising and/or Digital Marketing
  • BI background in: Tableau, Omniture, Microstrategy, Business Objects, Google Data Studio
  • Knowledge of Data Sources from: Digital Advertising, Social Media Platforms, CRM systems
  • Extensive familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Analytic Software is a Plus, Like: R, SPSS, SAS, Orange
  • Music or Entertainment Industry experience is a plus
  • Data Laguages: HTML, JSON, XML, Java, Python, SQL, VBA
  • 3+ Years of experience

Salary Range


65,000 to 75,000 Annually


Salary Ranges are included for all NY, California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
