The Catalog Manager oversees a team working on listing quality, account health, charge back disputes, and buyer messaging across Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, and Walmart WFS. They also manage process and tool evolution as the ultimate champion of the Catalog team.
The Catalog Manager will serve as the first level of support for their team, providing coaching, standard processes, and one-off guidance as needed to ensure all of Run AMZ’s listings meet the best practices of each platform. Although coaching and delegation is their focus, they will lead by example participating in the actual listing creation, auditing, and correcting of listings.
Recognizing down time can significantly impact sales, the Catalog Manager owns the quick mitigation of account health issues. They monitor and address account health issues to keep accounts and listings actively selling. Their deep knowledge of the platforms allows them to keep any down time to a minimum.
Understanding the importance of keeping accounting balanced they participate in the management of charge backs and incorrect fulfillment fee disputes. Their efforts keep accounting balanced and win back lost revenue for our clients.
Knowing that buyer messages require quick responses the Catalog Manager will refine internal processes to ensure that the team is promptly responding to buyers. Their goal is to convert messages into sales, meet account health KPIs, and keep negative reviews off platforms.
With the foundation of the Catalog team being dependent on product info accuracy, the Catalog Manager will be highly engaged in the continued implementation of our PIM. They will steer technical teams on how the PIM needs to evolve to meet the needs of the marketplace platforms and our processes.
The Catalog Manager must be curious, tenacious, and personable. They earn trust by being an experienced high performer that can distill learnings into processes for their team. Their team will enjoy becoming more efficient following their lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team of coordinators responsible for auditing and maintaining product listings for brands selling on Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, and Walmart WFS
• Champion process improvement in the areas of auditing, product management, data procurement, charge dispute, and product setup feeds
• Recruits and hires for open roles on the team and conducts performance evaluations
• Facilitates onboarding of new team members on the Catalog Team
• Coordinates training programs and identifies training needs for current staff
• Spearhead technical projects to continuously improve our tool set for the Catalog team
• Provide coaching to the coordinators to ensure listings meet the best practices of each platform
• Write SOPs for the Catalog team to follow
• Promptly address account health issues and suppressed listings
• Manage Buyer Messages and Charge Back disputes
• Provide safety bandwidth to accomplish catalog tasks when shorthanded or business surges
• Consult on Brand Registry and seller account setup
• Maintain current knowledge of the policies for each platform in relevant areas
Qualifications:
• 5+ years Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central experience preferred
• 1+ years Walmart WFS experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) & Asana
• Detail oriented, personable, and dauntless leadership style
• SCRUM or AGILE training preferred
• PIM implementation experience preferred
• NetSuite experience preferred
