Role: After Sales Support Manager

Location: Eastern Region – US (OH / KY /TN /WV /VA)

Sector: Construction Equipment Manufacturing

Salary: $100,000+ (negotiable) plus package

Our client is a major global construction equipment business who manufacture and sell heavy construction machinery to a variety of sectors including; Construction, Material Handling and Agriculture.

We are seeking an After Sales Support Manager who will manage and promote the after-sales service policy within the Dealer network. You will be the personal connection between dealers and company personnel on after sales related inquiry, providing timely feedback and training for the after sales support of the company’s product portfolio.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop strong relationship across the dealer network and with new prospective customers.

•Support the aftermarket, parts, sales & service initiatives.

•Provide assistance to the dealers for all aspects related to technical issues.

•Create and execute a new dealership integration plan.

•Coordinate training sessions for the dealers and customers – ensuring the customer has capability to repair and service all products.

•Liaise with Engineering regarding product development.

•Maintain high satisfaction rates by visiting customer sites regularly.

•Be the main point of contact for customer queries and complaints.

JOB AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

·5 years of experience in a similar product support field (construction equipment).

·MUST have knowledge and understanding of how a construction equipment dealership/distribution network operates.

·You will have ideally worked in the Construction Equipment Manufacturing sector previously.

·Will have a good engineering background, specifically with; engines, hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems of construction or agricultural equipment.

·Experience with products such as; Telehandlers, Loaders, Excavators and/or wider Material Handling equipment.
