We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Enterprise IT Team!
As a member of a GreatAmerica Product team this role will be expected to ensure GreatAmerica leverages Salesforce as a key platform for many of its business processes. As an owner of the Salesforce platform, one must understand the capabilities and products Salesforce offers for connecting the dots to achieve business goals. Primary activities are focused on understanding and configuring Salesforce based on best practices as well as GreatAmerica standards.
As an Advanced Salesforce Administrator, You’ll:
  • Maintain the Health and Stability on the Platform! Provide day-to-day operational administration on Salesforce platform, environments and applications; activities include but not limited to upgrades, health and stability maintenance, performance tuning, managing users, cleansing and auditing data, managing advanced security, optimizing the usage of the platform, environments and applications, deploying and maintaining Apex codes, build complex reports, dashboards, process automation and Flows
  • Be Adaptable! Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and excels at communicating shifts in prioritization.
  • Be Quality Focused! Design and execute the overall solution focusing on, but not limited to, Salesforce for the assigned projects and ensure quality of solution architecture. Ability to interpret, support, and enhance the org security setup including, but not limited to: User Accounts, Roles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Set Groups, Permission Sets, Public Groups.
  • Be Solution Driven! Work closely with the Salesforce Technical Product Owner, Solution Architects, Software Architects, and Software Engineers to ensure the solution follows best practices and architectural tenants established for the Salesforce platform and each solution is achieved as designed.
  • Be a Mentor to the Team! Provide documentation, training, consulting and insights on Salesforce best practices, trends and upcoming features to GreatAmerica teams. Additionally, you will provide mentorship opportunities to the other Salesforce Admins!
  • Be a Bridge Builder! Work with product teams, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects and Strategic Technology Group to review business drivers, needs, and strategies and understand implications to the Salesforce platform, environments and applications architecture.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert! Implement solutions and reusable assets in Salesforce Clouds through configuration, declarative programming and Apex programming to meet the solution design, Salesforce best practice and architectural standards. Deploy changes through DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Have Leadership and Team Support! Work in an agile methodology with cross-functional team members, adhering to a shared Sprint schedule, standard agile ceremonies, as well as a common project tracking tool. Complete Sprint Stories within the assigned timeframe, working through any blockers with the team and leadership.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:
  • Advanced Salesforce Admin & Platform App Builder certifications (preferred)
  • Have advanced knowledge in declarative programming, Salesforce APIs and SOQL.
  • Experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Deep analytical understanding of Salesforce including the Software Development Life Cycle, data modeling and cloud-based environments.
  • Experience communicating application solutions and strategies, as well as implications, to both technical and non-technical teams, as well as leadership.
  • The ability to solve problems and be inquisitive
  • Superior organizational skills and a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create & follow documentation
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Equivalent (required)
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (required)
  • 5 years of practical work experience with the Salesforce Platform (required)
