Principal Salesforce Administrator

JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW


Responsible for owning and delivering cloud-based solutions using Salesforce.com and must demonstrate progressive leadership in the software development environment's full life cycle. This role exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
  • Develop custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimize sales productivity tools, including Salesforce.com, High-Velocity Sales, SFDC PRM, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, and other sales systems.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.
  • Lead multiple technical projects at one time and deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Force.com platform.
  • Translate business needs into effective tools within Salesforce.
  • Identify and confirm technical design risks and develop mitigating approaches.
  • Lead the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases. Develop, document, and enforce application standards and procedures.
  • Maximize the value from Salesforce and make decision on in-built vs custom build solutions
  • Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and increase effectiveness
  • Execute a plan to improve the user experience, promote adoption, and monitor and improve policies and compliance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator
  • Platform Developer certifications
  • Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, and Application Architect certifications preferred.

Experience:

  • 10-12 years of development and administration experience with Salesforce

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy must be exceptional, with a constant drive to provide more efficiency to the organization
  • Strong experience using Visual force and Apex (Apex Builder, Apex API, Apex Code).
  • Experience managing a project or serving as a project team lead on the implementation of an enterprise system.
  • Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a solution
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance, and instruction to users at all levels.
  • Knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single sign-on
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools.
  • End to end implementation experience with the Salesforce platform
  • Experience with Release Management and Deployment concepts and technologies
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills

The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $189,120. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
