Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
TITLE: Administrator
DEPARTMENT: PVC Loading/Shipping
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this position is to coordinate export and domestic shipments from the plant. Completion of schedule control logs for in plant and outside warehouse shipments. Arranging carriers for export/domestic/dry bulk shipments. Assist in preparation of departmental reports, budgets and quality audits. Monitor carrier, warehouse and internal invoices to insure they are processed in a timely manner. Supply support to all aspects of the department as needed.
II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

• Compiling Reports: Completion of monthly production reports, budget reports, and operational reports. Reports to include but not limited to downtime analysis, customer complaints, abnormal budget costs.
• Invoicing: Tracking of invoices submitted from warehouses, carriers and other suppliers. Processing paperwork to insure payments are completed on all submitted invoices.
• Logistics/Shipping: Schedules shipments released from corporate sales based on cut-off dates as per the customer request. Contact and arranging the carriers to meet the shipment dates. Tracking of shipments on schedule control logs and constant communication with carriers and New Jersey Customer Service Group.
• Inventory Control: Data entry of daily production reports. Weekly and monthly inventory reports for in plant and outside warehouse inventories. Adjustment of inventories based on shipments and new production. Provide daily summary reports for inventories to New Jersey to provide information for future sales.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) - five (5) years’ experience in shipping/inventory in a petrochemical facility.
• Bachelor's Degree with 1 year shipping/inventory experience in a petrochemical facility preferred; High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years direct shipping/inventory experience considered depending on education.
