Travelling Superintendent Jobs

Our client is a Houston, TX based industry leader in the development, construction, and management of quality real estate investments. Well known for its development of multifamily communities the business has recently moved into hotels and healthcare building on average 6/8 projects per year.

They are looking to add to their team a travelling superintendent. The Superintendent, is accountable for the progress and successful completion of mutlifamily construction sites on time, under budget, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications and other contractual agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis. Identifying and resolving problems as they arise
• Appropriately allocate manpower and resources
• Oversee quality control of all construction
• Develop and execute pre-job plan
• Determine construction techniques to be used
• Maintain a clean and orderly job site
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and production meetings
• Maintain project schedule creating a 2-3 week look ahead

Experience:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Degree in Construction Management or other related field preferred
• Experience within healthcare or hotels desirable
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• 5 years’ minimum commercial or multi-family superintendent experience on large projects

Candidates must be willing to travel within Texas from project to project

Salary:

$120k - $150k base salary + travel expenses + bonus
