The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Under the direction of management the Administrative Coordinator uses a variety of organizational skills, industry-relevant knowledge and technology to efficiently manage the practice of a healthcare service provider. This person would serve as a liaison between the patient, family, and medical health care team. The AC will perform a variety of administrative duties as requested by the Practice Manager and/or Division Administrator, including supporting the team with administrative functions and care of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Administer hospital wide customer service initiative by attending all training modules and putting what’s learned into practice.
  • Organize and coordinate staff meetings as required and provide administrative coverage (answer phones, manage schedules, etc.) when short staffed.
  • Manage and coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursement as needed.
  • Maintain all applicable HIPAA, billing compliance and safety guidelines.
  • Provides an ongoing assessment of practice operations with recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Maintain academic calendar for Dr. Spencer Amory, including coordination of research, departmental meetings and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Provides administrative support to resolve conflicts related to patient care, health care providers' concerns, and operational issues.
  • Keep inventory and orders supplies, resolve IT issues, and liaise with facilities management.
  • Streamlines and recommends process improvements to ensure smooth and efficient workflow to maximize the patient experience in the practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and 3 yrs experience.
