GIG is looking to add an Administrative Assistant-Scheduler to our USA headquarters!

Our primary clients range from local animal welfare agencies who save the most vulnerable animals and enrich their lives and their local communities to global humanitarian organizations who provide life-saving programs and on the ground support to the world’s most at-risk children and their communities. We are seeking a personable and tireless champion for our clients and company in the form of an Administrative Assitant. The ideal candidate will thrive as a relationship-oriented ambassador for our company and thereby an extension of our clients’ brands. You will be an attentive, thoughtful, hard-working partner within the team who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth (sometimes ambiguous role) and are unafraid to roll up your sleeves to help us meet the growing needs and asks from our clients.


As a Event Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling events and managing a schedule
  • General office-based duties, as assigned and as necessary
  • Engaging local and national retailers for our fundraising events
  • Maintain a database optimized for a streamlined process
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships with local and national retailers
  • Sales and attrition metrics and reporting by event site


Requirements:

  • Ready to take their career to new heights
  • Unbelievably adept at navigating a fast-paced, start-up like environment
  • Stunning capability to thrive in high-volume contact via phone and email
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and as needed
  • Awe-inspiring ability to think critically and create impactful solutions
  • Rockstar excel and analytic skills (a must)
  • Judiciously effective at working autonomously as well as can contribute to a fun team environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an event and/or scheduling function
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a people facing role
  • Awesome verbal and non-verbal communication skills
