We are Milestone.
Milestone Contractors is a fully integrated highway, heavy construction, and site-development general contractor, providing construction services primarily within the state of Indiana. We are prequalified with the Indiana Department of Transportation and Departments of Transportation in the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois.
We have offices in Griffith, South Bend, Lafayette, Indianapolis, Richmond, Portland, Columbus, Bloomington and Terre Haute, Indiana.

Position Summary
Provides administrative assistance to all functional areas in the office, including operations, estimating, accounting; provides excellent customer service with attention to details.
Essential Functions
  • Types letters, memos, correspondence, and fax transmittals
  • Performs proctor duties for craft worker new hires
  • Coordinates training and events
  • Promotes and maintains personal safety
  • Greets guests in professional, friendly and hospitable manner
  • Prepares and delivers bid documents and subcontracts
  • Professionally administer all incoming calls and redirect appropriately
  • Provides highest levels of quality and service
  • Provides administrative activities for office
  • Orders office supplies; coordinates office equipment needs
  • Coordinates drug or alcohol screening with local clinics
  • Communicates with internal/external customers
  • Assists in preparing and printing documents as needed
  • Receives, distributes and sends mail, faxes and copies
  • Assists in Multiple Departments
  • Meets deadlines
  • Receives and processes tickets
  • Exhibits safe work behaviors
  • Wears all prescribed PPE
  • Receives and processes invoices or other accounting documents
  • Prepares Correspondence
  • Coordinates corporate giving; participates as social impact champion
  • Maintains Outlook Calendars
Required Education And Experience
  • 1-3 years' experience in an administrative position
  • HS Diploma or GED;
