Job Description

THIS IS A 100% REMOTE ROLE!


A worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support in a REMOTE WORK scenario to their Auto Operations team. In this role, you will handle a variety of back office and clerical duties related to the department, creating and maintaining a consistent workflow of jobs into and out of the department. You will be the front-line service contact for insurance companies, and sales staff providing updates for the addition of new products.


What You Will Do


  • Review and prioritize correspondence (i.e., insurance manual, bulletin) received from insurance companies
  • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management
  • Maintain list(s) of vehicle information for various applications
  • Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
  • Be the initial contact person for companies requiring changes or assistance
  • Notify insurance companies once changes are released
  • Request additional information from insurance companies to clarify as needed
  • Send copy of pre-release rate book(s) to companies for testing purposes
  • Pursues a program of self-development using selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education
  • Maintain list of insurance companies and their contacts in the company CSIO Utility
  • Initiate jobs in internal utilities and distribute appropriate information to proper department(s)
  • Analyze and import vehicle rate group changes


What You Will Need to Be Successful

  • Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely, or from the Toronto corporate office.


Must have:

  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Highly organized with excellent Time Management skills


Desired skills (but not required):

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Familiarity with industry software
  • Bilingual in French


Education: Canadian Secondary School Diploma
