Nursing and Midwifery Education and Strategy (NaMES) supports the organisation in achieving their vision and values by providing education and training and advancing clinical practice to ensure Monash Health has a contemporary, flexible and highly skilled nursing and midwifery workforce.


About The Role


Come and join the NaMES team in a permanent part-time position! This important Administrative Assistant role works as part of the administration team to provide high level administrative support to the NaMES team and key stakeholders.


Some Of The Role’s Tasks Include


  • Stationery management for NaMES team (across all sites)
  • Assisting NaMES staff with computer support, creating and maintaining databases, enquiries, etc
  • Diary management
  • Managing updates and communications to the team through emails, newsletter and on-line forums, as well as via the all staff intranet
  • Arranging meetings and forums
  • Handling education and training enquiries (emails and phone enquiries)


About You


You will have experience in a similar administrative role, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a supportive team. Your technical skills include well developed computer skills and high level knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software, including Outlook.


What You Need


  • Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of common software programs including Microsoft Office
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Previous experience and understanding of a large health care organisation would be advantageous
  • Experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritise own workload, multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Immunisations
