Your Day-to-day Will Always Look a Little Different, But Includes (but Not Limited To)


As an administrative assistant – billing/accounts receivable clerk you are primarily responsible for invoicing jobs and securing revenue by collecting incoming payments through efficient, consistent operational practices and resolving customer discrepancies in a timely manner.


  • Invoice jobs daily
  • Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Be an active and productive contributor to regular strategic and tactical meetings. Provide support and take ownership of departmental improvement projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous accounting experience a plus
  • Process remittances and verify checks are being applied correctly
  • Verify job costing, labor and customer pricing is accurate before billing
  • Verify PO’s match bid price
  • Take credit card payments, enters on converge and e-mails to BDI corporate office for processing
  • Ability to multitask
  • Deposit checks
  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required)
  • Bill commercial jobs, meet all deadlines and process all needed pay apps
  • Highly organized
  • Registered Notary a plus
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines independently
  • Notarize documents as needed.
  • Verify that all jobs are complete before billing
  • Strong computer skills (required)
  • Make collection calls on all past due invoices
  • Mail statements the 1st week of every month
  • Pre-Lien projects
  • Mail Invoices daily
  • Assist with month end close outs
  • Submit monthly pay apps to builders on or before their deadline
  • Strong Problem-solving


Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)


Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour


Position requires a drug test be completed, contingent upon employment and a background check if applicable.


  • Lift light to moderate weight
  • Sit for extended periods of time
