Job Description
Stellar Management is looking for an Accounts Payable/ Receivable Specialist. This person will be responsible for entering invoices and processing payments for multi-family residential portfolio as well as tracking/analyzing costs associated with annual operating budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account filing and research on vendor invoices
  • Scan all invoices into Yardi System
  • Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger
  • Posting payments to the general ledger and conducting daily cash reconciliation
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining A/R accounting policies and procedures
  • Treasury functions such as bank deposits, manual wire payments, and credit card transactions
  • Accounts payable
  • Enter invoices and cut checks in a timely manner as approved by Controller; void checks as needed
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Responding to customer questions and resolving issues
  • Obtain invoice approvals based on appropriate Approval Authority
  • Clerical functions such as billing, estimates, monthly statements, etc.
  • Handle vendors and vendor issues

Requirements

  • Some experience or coursework in accounting and/or experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable preferred
  • Accounts Payable 1 year experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, including Word and Excel Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Yardi experience preferred
Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $68,000, depending upon experience.
