Jet International is expanding their business of supplying airframe and engine components for the world's commercial aircraft. The home office is in Northbrook, IL, with additional sales offices in South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

The Accounting Assistant will work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility after training, on-site at the Jet International home office in Northbrook, IL.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

• Review daily receiving reports on a weekly basis and cross check with payables
• Assist with daily invoicing
• Cross train on accounts payable
• Accounts receivable follow-up on a weekly basis
• Process freight invoices for payment weekly
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties
• Process and enter cash receipts daily
• Respond to customer emails

Education and Experience:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• High School Diploma and some accounting coursework required
• Candidate must be proficient in Word & Excel
• Accuracy, time management, and attention to detail are critical in this high-volume role
• Knowledge of SAGE & QUANTUM is a plus
• At least 2 years of accounting work experience
