About Our Client
My client is a global, industry leader in the power tool manufacturing industry! Founded more than 40 years ago, my client has quickly taken over the market as the go to for manufacturing products within their niche.
They are looking for an Accounting Manager to work alongside the leadership team to oversee a team of 6 through month end close and design and implement process improvements to move the business forward.If you are interested in joining a company that will offer you ample room for progression, make an impact to grow and develop the team, and that will empower you to make strategic decisions - this is the role for you!

• Own 3-way match process through cross-functional coordination with purchasing, operations, and plant management
• Ensure that accurate financial records and strong internal controls are in place and being followed
• Responsible for 6 direct reports, training, mentoring, and reviewing their work as they assist you in month end
• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting requirements
• Design and implement process improvements to drive efficiency

The Successful Applicant

• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Inventory and fixed asset experience preferred
• Management experience is a MUST
• Strong business communication and analytical skills
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in accounting
