Job Description

Bookkeeper/Payroll/HR - Competitive Pay + Great Benefits (100% Paid Medical)

Lynch Aluminum is a family owned and operated company that has been active in the Peoria area for nearly 50 years. We manufacture and distribute aluminum rain ware products (gutter systems, soffit, fascia, related accessories) from our singular location here in North Peoria. This position's role is to assist our current bookkeeper and HR manager with a variety of tasks outlined below:

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll
  • Assist with new employee enrollment paperwork
  • Assist with Accounts Payable including payment posting and generating checks
  • Assist the management of health, dental, and vision insurance program
  • Journal Posting/General Ledger data entry
  • Generate State/Federal Tax reports
  • Facilitate sales tax returns for 18 states
  • Help manage our CDL drivers' logs, fuel program, IFTA, and mileage reports
  • Benefit administration and payroll allocation (employee health, dental, vision, PTO)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Organized
  • Excel in a team environment
  • High School Education required
  • Bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Detail Oriented
  • Experience in accounting required
  • Multi-tasker
  • Strong communicator
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Sage software)
  • HR experience preferred
