Technical Accounting Analyst Jobs

The McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group’s Treasury, Tax, and Specialized Accounting group currently has an excellent opportunity for an Analyst to join our team. This position offers a tremendous opportunity for an individual to gain an understanding of McDonald’s Corporation, the global business, financial statements, consolidation accounting, internal and external reporting and more. It will provide the candidate the ability to further enhance their analytical, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of debt and derivative footnotes within the Company’s SEC filings
• Key contact for the Treasury department and the Treasury accounting system
• Analysis of foreign currency related transactions and reporting
• Accounting and analysis of the Company’s debt and derivative instruments
• Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the Company’s debt, derivatives, and hedge accounting
• Ad-hoc projects related to Treasury, Tax or specialized accounting topics

• 2+ years of experience in accounting and / or financial services
• CPA preferred
• Microsoft Office experience is required, especially with Microsoft Excel
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and / or Finance is required
