Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Account Manager to join an industry leading LED lighting manufacturer located in Duluth, GA.
Summary Of The Position
The Account Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and generating sales opportunities and pursuing these to successful closure. The applicant must present solutions to potential customers or identify new opportunities as well as maintain a current customer base and company share. Must be capable of developing customer relationships at all levels and guide sales through opportunity planning, project sales, design involvement and value selling. Must be well versed in the details of products and be able to promote these to customers both remotely and in person. Negotiate pricing and terms with customers. The account manager will be regionally focused in the southeast.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage established client while adding new prospects
  • Provide timely resolution on open items
  • Travel to customer locations frequently for in person product promotion
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to achieve desired results
  • Make effective presentations
  • Achieve or exceed sales objectives
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge, application requirements, competitive landscape & market dynamics· Identify new customers and market opportunities
  • Document quotations and generate trip reports.
  • Achieve expert status on product offerings and to promote products to customer
  • Attend Trade Shows and Conferences as needed with Manager approval
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer’s core objectives and needs to properly match the company’s products and services
Other Duties And Responsibilities
  • Serve as technical consultant to customers
  • Provide training to new sales employees.
  • Participate in trade shows as assigned
  • Maintain familiarity with competitor product offerings and practices.
  • Create and deliver sales and activity reports to management
  • Assist in the execution of marketing plans of the company as required.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities for existing and new customers· Ability to visually detect subtle differences in color, detect different color hues and variance of white
  • Achieve a comprehensive understanding of the company’s processes, procedures, policies, and contracts
  • Coordinate and manage logistics of company products and services
  • Monitor collection of accounts
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
MUST HAVE AN ENGINEERING BACKGROUND OR RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE WITH AN ENGINEERING DEGREE
THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
SHIFT: DAY SHIFT HOURS - MONDAY – FRIDAY
PAY: $75,000- $120,000 BASED ON EXPERIENCE
