Lead Healthcare Data Analyst Jobs

Develops and conducts analysis and modeling to supports negotiation and management of alternative payment arrangements.

Works with internal and cross-departmental teams to develop actionable reporting for the management of total medical expense.

Significant Excel knowledge and experience working with large datasets, and advanced proficiency in SQL, SPSS, SAS or VBA.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Managed Care Health Care Administration or relevant discipline.

Five years related experience of health care data analysis.

Knowledge of healthcare terms and reimbursement methodologies is required.

Collaborate closely with a team of Product Managers, Data Operations, and Developers to ensure data is built and delivered with quality

4+ years of industry experience working with big healthcare datasets (prescription and medical claims)

Knowledge of industry-standard billing codes such as ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC

Understand how relational databases work, and experience designing transformations, mappings, and working with reference tables

Experience investigating data issues and working with a cross-functional team for addressing

Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire

Support development of analytics offerings through combining various sources of healthcare industry data (claims, sales/purchasing, etc.)

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a preference for majors in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, or related field

1+ years of experience working with large panel data, with a focus in the MedTech or healthcare space a plus
