Senior Data Analyst – (Healthcare for the greater good)

A growing Healthcare “HealthTech” company is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst with strong SQL and statistical skills and the ability to develop advanced analytics using R, Python, SAS and business intelligence tools, Power BI & Tableau.

Responsibilities:

• Work with end-users to understand their data needs and facilitate reporting as well as improve the efficiency and effectiveness of analytics throughout the organization.
• Establish statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses.
• Analyze healthcare data to better understand and tell the story behind, costs, pricing, and successful treatments being performed today.
• Partner with internal business clients to define reporting & dashboard requirements for use in managing day-to-day operations more efficiently.

Requirements:

• Data Mining, loading data, data validation, joining tables, select statements, etc...
• Experience with medical claims data, healthcare codes, ICD, CPT, etc..
• SQL, writing queries on 100k+ lines of data, joins, select statements.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in an analytical role.
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling tools such as SQL, R, Proc SQL, SAS.
• Experience and proficiency leveraging SQL, including loading data, writing update and select statements, and joining tables.

Education:

• At least a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Math or Business, or equivalent work experience.
