Experience working with remote teams

Conduct market research and gather insights to understand customer requirements, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in the smart water industry.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and sales, to define product requirements, features, and specifications.

Prioritize and manage product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Work closely with engineering teams during product development, providing guidance, clarifying requirements, and resolving issues.

Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to improve user experience and drive product adoption.

Required Technical Skills: Prior training and facilitation experience

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills, technical writing, attention to detail

Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

This is a great entry level opportunity with the City of Lebanon.

This seasonal position will not exceed 6 months.

Driver's License - Valid Tennessee Driver's License and clear driving record is required

Employment status is probationary for the full duration of your seasonal employment with the City.

Responsibility for the overall management, policy development, program planning, fiscal accountability, and administration of a group of integrated functional units;

Direct and indirect supervision over managerial, professional, technical, and support staff in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the group.

Responsibility to provide technical advice to the President; and

Provides leadership in the development and implementation of strategies, programs, ordinances, policies, and operational decisions;

Prepares and recommends long-range plans for services and programs;

Establishes goals, motivates and coaches team to action on initiatives;

At least 1 year of manual labor experience that includes experience in construction, water, or mechanical industries.

Basic knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and operating procedures commonly utilized in the water industry.

Skills in using and maintaining devices, tools, and equipment related to assigned function.

Salary to be commensurate with experience

3+ years proven success in brand management or consumer marketing within CPG; food or beverage experience a plus

Strong cross-functional project management skills, including leading new product development efforts

Develop and manage marketing budget for Brand.

Build collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product Development.

Manage the work flow and develop the careers of a team of Associate Brand Managers.

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Project planning and management of energy efficiency and/or demand response programs.

Field technician recruitment, management, and installation support.

Team management and performance feedback.

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, energy management, or engineering

Minimum of 3 years experience in managing energy efficiency and/or demand response programs for a utility or business.

Professional Certifications: AEE (Association of Energy Engineers) - CMVP, CEM, or CEA

Minimum of (10) years of leadership experience in utility or related industry.

Leadership experience must include supervision of personnel and teams.

Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in planning and implementing plans and projects.

Demonstrate experience leading teams through change and promoting flexibility during the process.

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in the areas of business, engineering, or other related fields.

One (1) year utility experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Starting Salary Depending on Experience and Qualifications

Knowledge of applicable Town, State and Federal statutes, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations governing water utility.

Knowledge of customer service techniques and methods.

Knowledge of the operations and maintenance of automated water metering systems, repair and installation methods, material and equipment.

Knowledge of Town and Department policies and procedures.

At least four (4) years experience performing construction inspections for a public jurisdiction or consulting engineering firm

Prefer experience in a municipal water environment

Knowledge of principles and techniques of construction as applicable to the construction of Utility projects

Generates computer or manual billings or refund checks in accordance with established procedures

Paints various structures, and performs a variety of other semi-skilled maintenance and repair work.

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from a standard high school with extensive experience in industrial construction.

Working knowledge of the use and maintenance of various hand tools and simple machinery.

Skill to use many different types of hand tools.

Skill to operate light machinery and mid-size vehicles.

Considerable knowledge of methods, practices, materials and tools used in pipe, main, service and meter installation and repair.

Knowledge of water distribution system including mains, hydrants and meters.

Skill in the use of tools used in all phases of work.

Cuts, fits, lays, repairs, taps, cleans and flushes water mains and services.

Supervises and assists crews engaged in making pavement cuts, digging out mains, cutting and laying mains and back-filling trenches.

Installs water meters and raises or lowers meter boxes.
