Operate as a Remote Pilot in Command, responsible for flight planning, flight execution and risk management

Manage the regulatory tracking and maintenance requirements for our growing internal operations

Manage and develop our growing UAS/ROS operation

Manage TCE's UAS efforts including business development

Provide SME insights to business units pursuing specialized drone capabilities including BVLOS and pipe integrity monitoring capabilities

Knowledge of Precision flying skills

Planning, coordinating, and organizational skills using logic and good judgement

Serves as Pilot in Command of a Cessna 208 Caravan (Photogrammetry aircraft), for the collection of aerial imagery

Performs post-flight aircraft inspection and documentation

Coordinates with the WYDOT Aeronautics mechanic as needed to address maintenance issues

Flies aircraft to maintenance sites for scheduled annual inspection or miscellaneous repairs to be conducted by Cessna certified repair shop

Must have ability to develop professional relationships with management, peers, maintainers, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.

Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.

Maintain Basic Aircraft Qualification (BAQ) IAW AFMAN 11‐2UH‐1N Vol 1.and/or MH‐139 specific AFMAN.

Must meet any other qualification standards imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement.

Maintain record oversight of pilot qualifications and records to include BFRs, Medicals and subcontracts

Create and maintain library of instruction materials related to survey flying, sensors systems, weight and balance practices and daily responsibilities.

Conduct new pilot qualification and recurrency training

FAA Commercial Instrument Pilot Certification-ASEL

Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

LiDAR and or general remote sensing understanding/experience

Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and vehicles in the Remote Sensing fleet.

Ability to carry equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urban surroundings

200+ verifiable hours of commercial flight systems experience.

3+ years experience with professional level sUAS systems and project support.

5-8 years in remote sensing technologies.

Preferred qualifications for the Pilot position areas (see note * below):

Assist Chief Pilot in updating and maintaining accurate aircraft pilot flight records and aircraft Flight Logs

Assist Chief Pilot in coordinating Company aircraft flight schedule with Assistant to CEO/Assistant Corporate Secretary

Assist Chief Pilot in obtaining and maintaining current flight planning materials, emergency procedures manuals, aircraft operational manuals and FAA regulations

Assist Chief Pilot in maintaining aircraft support subscriptions

ATP rating in category meets this requirement

Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.

Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.

Responsible for completion of required documentation.

Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.

Participates regularly in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff, customers, and industry

Duties and responsibilities include execution of UAS flights, data management, and data transfer.

Part 107 UAS Remote Pilot Endorsement

1 Year of Commercial UAS Piloting Experience (at minimum)

Fixed wing UAS operational experience is a plus.

certifications names/descriptions may vary in different countries

ATP rating in category also meets the above requirement.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Include The Following

Operates Air Methods’ aircraft in a safe and legal manner.

Pilots must have flown in category for a commercial operator, or in the military, within the previous 24 months

Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals and the public. Strives to maintain a friendly and professional working environment.

2500 total flight hours with minimum of 2000 flight hours in category.

Resumes must include information regarding pilot certificates and ratings, total flight time, and educational background.

Holds at least a commercial pilot certificate, and

Coordinate SDRL/CDRL generation and delivery per SOW requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in the Defense/ Aerospace industry (DOD)

Experience evaluating program Risks and Opportunities

Little to no flight training experience, experience not exceeding a Private Pilot’s License
