Training Institute Operations Manager Jobs

Design, develop and lead the overall new hire experience strategy for hourly production team members

7+ years of progressive work experience in adult learning, training, and educating an hourly production workforce

Own the overall process and strategy for the Certified Training Program

Conduct plant-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed, including training records needs assessment.

Advise management on training opportunities as observed and develop action plans as appropriate.

Comfortable giving feedback and presenting to management staff.

Manage work of training coordinators and will manage level two training coordinators.

Designs, prepares and order educational aids and materials.

Assess trainee/trainer effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills.

3-5 years of experience in office administration, project management (in an arts/health setting preferred)

Command of technology to support work including project management tools and software applications

Manages and directs all phases of Institute initiatives, events, and projects

Manages Institute budget including spreadsheets, expenditures, and purchasing card reconciliations

Manages the marketing for the Institute, including overseeing web and social media presence

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience

Manages daily GTF operations, encompassing inquiries, scheduling, servicing, training, equipment maintenance, supply management, billing, and annual fee assessment.

Collaborates with Nursery Manager in the lab, aiding summer field operations through tasks in wet lab, field experiments, and high-throughput genotyping/phenotyping.

Applies senior-level professional knowledge and expertise to work requiring greater latitude

Works with project team subordinates to set meaningful performance objectives; sets specific performance goals and identifies measures for evaluating goal achievement.

Remains informed of changing applicable regulations which may affect project objectives, goals, progress and/or timelines. Alters project plan accordingly.

Develops a budget for the project and is responsible for the allocation of resources.

Support the e-learning/asynchronous training administration and regular reporting using Microsoft excel and learning management software (e.g., Litmos);

Support Marking and publication of training offerings;

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serve as a liaison to other departments when necessary (e.g., Human Resources, Project Sites);

Support coordination of the relationships with internal partners (i.e., training liaisons) as well as external training consultants (including contracts and budgets);
