Staff Accountant Associate Jobs

Manage and interpret exception reporting from for inventory management and reconciliation.

Produce and analyze monthly financial statements, quarterly sales reports and assist with month-end close and preparation of supporting schedules.

Reconcile bank accounts and open online transactions against shipping invoices and payments

Run bi-weekly inventory analysis. Support in managing our in-season inventory and reporting on sell-through.

Accountability for profits, expenses, assets.

Ensure site stock availability by reconciling inventory data against on-site availability

Experience with Intacct Financial Management software a plus

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred – minimum one year experience; recent graduates welcome

Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Uses general ledger accounting software to assist in preparing financial statements, budgets and reports for internal use.

Prepares general ledger entries on a daily basis.

4 year degree in Accounting or Finance related field

Good analytical and problem-solving skills are needed.

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Pro and other Microsoft Office applications. SQL and Power BI a plus

PDI knowledge is a plus, but not required

Proven knowledge and ability to perform computational analysis of datasets using programming languages such as Python. Experience with Python preferred.

Demonstrated experience and skill using MAC or PC programs, including Microsoft Office.

Proven experience with behavioral experiments, optogenetic manipulations, and multiphoton microscopy.

Proven ability and organizational skills to keep accurate records of scientific data in a well-organized lab notebook.

Must be willing and able to work with fish as a primary research subject.

Must be willing to work occasional overtime (evening or weekend) based on needs of experiments.

Young Life volunteer leader experience (student staff or equivalent experience preferred).

Proven relational and leadership skills with both kids and adults.

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Work closely with the area director to create a strategy for effective ministry.

Recruit volunteers and lead them in this ministry.

Lead, manage and grow dynamic ministry at Palisade High School which includes: contact work, club, Campaigners and camping.

Manage and lead up to 14 volunteer leaders.

Ministry Support — Work with an existing area administrator to ensure excellence is maintained in the areas of communication, finances, etc.

Young Life volunteer leader/staff experience (student staff or equivalent experience preferred).

Proven relational and leadership skills with both kids and adults.

Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate reporting of employees' time & expense reports

Prepare journal entries, including accruals and reclasses, for both P&L and balance sheet

Review monthly P&L expenses allocated to store back-office systems

Prepare balance sheet reconciliation documentation and reconcile accounts

Compile monthly store P&Ls, explaining fluctuations based on predetermined parameters

Effectively communicate financial information to nonfinancial field partners

Consistently apply innovative thinking to transform and automate internal processes
