Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering related, or equivalent experience.

A well-developed Sandia network of peers, especially within the Quality and Configuration Management communities

Experience with fielding operations at remote testing facilities, such as Kauai Test Facility, Kodiak Launch Complex, NASA Wallops, Courtland, AL, etc.

The ability to manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department

Work closely with other center 05400 managers and program/technical managers to service 05400’s program needs

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus 8 years related experience; or equivalent (AS+ 12 or no degree + 16)

Project Management Office (Project Managers / Scrum Masters) – Resource planning, establish SQE dashboards

8+ years in lead or management position.

DevOps experience with Quality Engineering

Technology stack experience – Azure deployment pipelines, Selenium, JMeter, Postman, and Load Runner

Senior Manager of Software Quality Engineering

DevOps / Development Team – Integration of automation into the development pipeline, establish and enforce quality gates

Quality Management System experience (AS9100 preferred)

Experience implementing Quality Management systems

Defense & Space experience recommended

Leadership experience (including managing people)
