Revenue Accounting Analyst Jobs

· Responsible for identifying billing management SLAs and ensuring billing exceptions are being worked timely.

· Experience within financial/revenue analysis with a large volume of transactions (30,000 monthly)

· Previous supervisory experience either directly or leading projects

· Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

· Provide supporting documentation and analysis to internal and external auditors as needed

· Review contracts, sales orders and purchase orders to assess proper revenue recognition treatment.

Manage revenue and performance attribution by organizing and implementing unique tracking links across the network

Minimum of two years’ experience in a data gathering/reporting role

Strong Excel/Google Sheets experience including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and INDEX

Experience in the iGaming market preferred, but not required

Excellent communication skills internal and external

Google Analytics (or similar) experience is preferred but not required.

Participate in weekly revenue management meetings.

Prepare Revenue Management Report information for all related meetings.

Prepare 14 Day Forecast for distribution to Management team so proper staffing levels are achieved.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent

Evaluate current processes and procedures around the Revenue Cycle including Revenue Recognition and recommend/implement improvements.

Primary Responsibilities Of This Position

Strong involvement in contract-to-cash process, including remediation of identified gaps and ongoing maintenance of processes

Upload accounting entries in the city’s Financial Management System (FMS) as well as review of expenditures and projected revenue

Coordinating with the Office of Management & Budget for FEMA related billable expenditures via PW’s (Project Worksheets)

Track and submits drawdown requests for claimed federal expenditures based on claiming frequency and reconciles received payments with Cash Management Unit.
