Required Education, Experience And Certification/Licensure

Maintain research project timelines and manage timely execution of deliverables by the research team.

Maintain study master files and manage the research study progress in relation to project timelines.

Communicate with principal investigators, the Director, and the department team while maintaining positive and cooperative relationships in day-to-day interactions.

Coordinate and attend research investigator and coordinator meetings and teleconferences, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.

Create and update research study manual of operations and standard data collection procedures for all participating clinical research sites.

• Possess basic level of Project Management skills.

Support day-to-day policy area resource management, including efforts to monitor and coordinate policy area staffing needs and deployment strategies

BA/BS in nonprofit management, public administration, public policy, social science, or a related field

Has experience working with government agencies, CBOs, and/or non-profits

Subject matter expertise in public health, criminal justice, mental health, substance use, early childhood, education or related area(s).

Has 2-4 years or more of full-time evaluation or similar applied research experience; Additional experience required for higher-level positions

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and engage with multiple project stakeholders

Working knowledge of tobacco control.

Experience generating single-cell RNAseq, ATACseq, and multiome data preferred but not required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Optimize and execute molecular-biological reactions such as PCR, DNA extractions from human brain tissue, and next generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation

Maintain meticulous records and document all experiments in the lab notebook

Attend and contribute to team meetings

Contribute to generation and optimization of experimental protocols

Skills are normally acquired through an accumulation of work experiences and/or specific work related training programs

Must have a basic knowledge of the research discipline

Experience in psychological research with human participants

Experience with Windows and Mac computing and Microsoft Office suite

Keeps records of work performed and maintains databases and other records

Trains and leads students through various laboratory-related activities

Proven experience in project management, ideally within the education or fintech sector.
