Research Project Coordinator Jobs in New Jersey

Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and laboratory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Organizes laboratory and manage safety training.

Requires two years of relevant experience.

Knowledge in Powder processing, shape forming, materials characterization, computer programming, sensors, finishing operations.

Coordinates and conducts professional level experiments and research.

Focuses on processes using elevated pressures and temperatures in a continuous reactor.

• Possess basic level of Project Management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Written and verbal communication skills.

• Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of contacts.

• Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure.

Experience in the management of large, complex projects involving multiple institutions and stakeholders.

Experience with data management systems such as Qualtrics.

Develops and oversees data management systems for primary and secondary data.

Ph.D. or Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience with population research.

Applicants lacking the required degree may substitute the appropriate experience on a year for-year basis.

Working knowledge of tobacco control.

Skills are normally acquired through an accumulation of work experiences and/or specific work related training programs

Must have a basic knowledge of the research discipline

Experience in psychological research with human participants

Experience with Windows and Mac computing and Microsoft Office suite

Keeps records of work performed and maintains databases and other records

Trains and leads students through various laboratory-related activities
