•Hands-on operation of equipment needed for downstream process development, including experimental design,

Working knowledge of data management and statistical analysis (Graph Pad Prism, Office 365, etc);

Hands-on experience with small animal imaging modalities, i.e., bioluminescence (BLI) and/or nuclear imaging (PET/SPECT);

Working knowledge of fundamental molecular biology techniques applicable to ex vivo tissue analysis;

Detail-oriented, highly organized, with excellent oral and written communication skills; Holding high standard of scientific integrity;

Hands-on experience in orthotopic tumor modeling and aseptic surgery techniques (e.g., castration);

Experience in Mammalian cell culturing and maintaining human tumor cell lines and primary human cells;

Perform assay optimization, qualification, validation, and cellular PK/PD studies in disease-relevant cells

Good understanding of on-target/off-target analysis of CRISPR editing and experience with NGS library preparation

Design and production of cell engineering tools such as DNA constructs, gRNAs (CRISPR), and lentiviruses, etc.

BS or MS with 1-2 years of experience (Associate Scientist) or PhD (Scientist) in cell biology, molecular biology or related discipline.

Experience with multicolor flow cytometry is a plus.

Conduct routine mammalian cell culture, including but not limited to the following responsibilities.

Maintain routine cultures of immortalized mammalian cells.

Split and plate cells into multi-well microplates for experiments in numbers and formats specified by a supervisor.

Freeze and bank cell lines for long-term storage in liquid nitrogen and maintain organizational control over banked lines.

Collect, quality-control, and analyze resultant data. Upload results to internal database.

·Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation for RNA-seq, DNA-seq, 10x Genomics assays.

·Extensive experience with molecular biology software such as SnapGene or Geneious.

·Experience with genomic DNA and RNA purification from various mammalian cell lines and primary cells.

·Passion for organization and experience with sample tracking and maintenance of reagent registries

You have a B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology or Science with 1 to 3 years of additional experience in biotech/pharma.
