Production Design Assistant Jobs

0 - 2 years' experience as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Completing production and design projects while coordinating with supervisors and other departments.

Creating 3D models using Inventor from specs provided by Application Engineers working with customers and consulting engineers.

Building 2D drawings with proper dimensions and annotations for production to occur accurately.

Modifying, preparing, and checking submittals, manufacturing and production drawings, and Bills of Materials for the control and distribution of company products.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

5 years’ experience in exhibit graphic design, production, fabrication, or installation.

3 years’ experience supervising staff or volunteers required.

Responsible for code reviews on behalf of management, in conjunction with the AOR.

Work with EPA, CORE, and Authority of Jurisdiction to manage issues, in conjunction with the Design Management team.

Will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one – three technicians and will perform some technical production.

Provide research regarding the project design, along with applicable code and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate the preparation of schematic, design development, and construction documents and manage construction administration activities for the project.

Manage all administrative tasks related to design for the project.

Associates/Bachelor degree in Interior Design or related field

Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills are a must

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator and Photoshop)

CAD skills for detailed sketches using Adobe Illustrator

Provide support for senior designers on all interior selections

1-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women's apparel

Excellent sketching and illustration skills

Good communication and collaboration skills

Assist in the design and development process from concept to final product.

Create detailed sketches, BOMs and technical packs for new product ideas.

Work with the design team to select materials and trims for garments.

Must have Project management experience

8+ Years of work experience as a Design production or Producer field

Must have experience running projects with multiple stakeholders, across internal, talent, and agencies

Must have experience working with Product Marketing and Brand Marketing

- Negotiate and manage project statements of work, estimates and related parameters

- Manage and expand external vendor relationships (illustrators, photographers, design firms, production companies, etc.)

Experience with content management systems (CMS) required

Powersports industry knowledge or writing experience a plus

Creatively ideate on how to best display product features, benefits, and attributes in a visual way for commerce channels

Apply business knowledge to identify and understand assortments and prioritize key initiatives

Interpret how company strategies and changes impact the category of business/direct responsibilities

Utilize business knowledge and reporting to prioritize workload and projects accordingly

· Strong communication, organization, problem solving, and time management skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Gsuite, andCanva

· Proficient in Wordpress (not required but beneficial)

· Ability and eye for design

· Available to work flexible hours between M-F and 9am-4pm

· Occasionally long hours of standing, moving, and carrying

. Experience in QuickBooks and BuilderTrend helpful

. Ability to effectively multi-task and manage time.

. Maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge by reviewing product literature, manuals and manufacturer bulletins.

Assist Designers with mood boards, fittings, fabrics, trimmings, hardware, shapes, and stories

Contribute new ideas and styles

Participate in the process of fitting and shape

Maintain an organized set of files, utilizing our project management systems and file servers

Familiar with Project Management and Asset Organization tools

Must have previous CPG or beauty packaging experience

3-5 years of design experience

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Manage vintage and design library.

Create seasonal product knowledge documents to share with Merchandising and External Partners

Organize and manage trim libraries for easy access / reference.

Working knowledge of pattern making and garment construction.
