Member Services Intake Specialist Jobs

Previous customer service and data entry experience required, preferably within a call center.

One to three years Behavioral Health experience required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to respond sensitively to member’s requests required.

Experience with PCs in a Windows based environment required.

Bachelor’s degree in mental health and/or human services field of study required.

Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with Members and all other internal and external customers.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

1-3 years of job-related experience

Strong statistical and analytical skills – proficient in Excel

Effective oral and written communication skills

Credentialed in appropriate EPIC application(s) within 90 days of hire

1-2 years advanced Financial Analysis

Complete additional tasks as designated by management

Deliver best-in-class customer service to ensure the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time

Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills

Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, MS Windows) and an ability to learn new software

1-2 years of Sales experience preferred

Track leads, appointments, and prospect interests in appropriate systems

Assigning case files to the department staff for case management.

Responsible for additional clerical/administrative responsibilities at the discretion of the Director or Manager.

Print, mail, and triage letters at the FH corporate office located at 10 Chestnut Street, Worcester, MA.

Managing incoming faxes and member specific data, routing to the appropriate staff member.

Producing, maintaining, and distributing reports/calendars utilized by the team to assist in workload planning.

Processes department incoming/outgoing mail per established workflows in a timely and accurate manner.

Demonstrated excellent, consistent computer skills – including case management software, Excel, Word, and email – and comfort with learning new programs

Demonstrated excellent, consistent client interviewing, writing, and communication skills

Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, particularly with regard to scheduling, referring, tracking, and gathering documents for significant volumes of clients and volunteers

Salary and benefits are determined by the LSNYC Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Partner with management on support improvements, including process, training and workflow gaps

2+ years experience in customer support, customer operations and/or contact center operations

Impeccable customer service skills with a relentless desire to exceed expectations

Basic computer skills necessary, Mac/iOS preferred

Refers questions about non-routine circumstances to the Shelter Manager.

Performs other duties as assigned by Shelter Manager.

Demonstrate a basic knowledge of animal health and behavior issues.

Records all pertinent data into PetPoint data base.

Assures that the Intake Desk is manned during all hours open to the public.

Maintains a good working relationship with volunteers at the Shelter.

Excellent typing and transcription skills, including typing at fast speeds.

High school diploma: additional computer training or certification will be an asset.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Organizational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.

Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.

Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.

Performs various administrative functions and related duties and responsibilities as required.

One (1) year of processing experience or customer service activity.

General knowledge of City Code and Local Government Code.

Working knowledge of the Unified Development Code (UDC).

Skill in providing exceptional customer service.

Skill in resolving customer problems in a professional and courteous manner.

Assist members with their initial setup of their balance bills and respond to inquiries related to the balance bill management process

Apply strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Experience in healthcare or billing environments a plus

Excellent communication skills via email and telephone; interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive relationships
